I would go into the Sources selections and add a Game Capture, and go through the steps to capture HL2. IE currently: Say I want to stream or record HL2. I'm looking for a solution where it takes out those extra steps to capture any application's audio when you capture it's window. It's simply when you capture any application's window you have to then go and manually capture the application's audio afterwards.

Don't get me wrong, I like the feature itself, I can see quite a bit of use from it. And it had been close to a year since I had touched OBS at that point as well so I wasn't aware of the new feature and change.Īnd while I know of it now, I am used to how OBS was setup prior, and I'll easily forget to also add in audio sources for applications. And the reason was because the audio no longer automatically get captured for applications like it had been for a while for OBS. Is there a way for when an Window Capture or a Game Capture is added, that it automatically adds an associated Application Audio Capture?Ī couple months ago I was streaming with two friends doing a co-op of hollow knight, and about a hour in I realized that there was no audio, and it was because it wasn't capturing the audio from Discord nor Hollow Knight despite having them captured.
